  The River The Crooked River originates high in the Ochoco Mountains. It cuts through the rugged high desert of Central Oregon to its confluence with the Deschutes River north of Bend Oregon. This scenic high desert canyon and its array of wildlife is a beautiful and intimate setting for a fly fishing trip. The Fish & Hatches The Crooked River offers Rainbow Trout that are firm, colorful and good fighters. The hatches peak in the spring and summer. There are occasional hatches possible any month of the year. Caddis, Mayfly and Midge hatches are available. Scuds are always present making the Nymph fishing a year round pursuit. The Crooked River is a year round fishery!   The Service Our experience and attention to details gives us the confidence to offer you an enjoyable flyfishing trip on the Crooked  River. The Crooked River is a perfect setting for fly fishing instruction for the beginner or a great day of fly fishing on an intimate stream for the seasoned fly fisher. Crooked River Rainbow Trout Trips 2017 Full day trips with a minimum of two people $220.00 per person On full day trips a stream-side deli lunch is included Half day trips with a minimum of two people $140.00 per person Reservation, Deposits & Refunds Policy  Early reservations allow us to operate more efficiently & to book the dates you desire.  A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure dates.   Full payment for the reserved party size is due thirty (30) days before the trip.     A valid Oregon Fishing License is mandatory as well as any required river permits.   Deposits & payments are non-refundable.   Trips proceed regardless of weather conditions. He has been a river guide on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon, where he met his wife Audrey. They started their flyfishing guide service in 1986.
