The Crooked River originates high in the Ochoco Mountains. It cuts through the rugged high desert of Central Oregon to its confluence with the Deschutes River north of Bend Oregon. This scenic high desert canyon and its array of wildlife is a beautiful and intimate setting for a fly fishing trip. |

Fish & Hatches
The Crooked River offers rainbow trout that are firm, colorful and good fighters. The hatches peak in the spring and summer. There are occasional hatches possible any month of the year. Caddis, mayfly and midge hatches are available. Scuds are always present making the nymph fishing a year round pursuit. The Crooked River is a year round fishery. |

Rodger was born in Alaska where as a young boy he realized that the
outdoors was the place to be. His experience as a fly fishing guide includes
rivers and lakes. He has been a river guide on the Colorado River through the
Grand Canyon, where he met his wife Audrey. They started their flyfishing guide
service in 1986. Their
attention to details will make your flyfishing trip a pleasure. Their years of
experience as flyfishing guides, river boatmen, chef and hosts will insure your
comfort and pleasure on your fly fishing trip.
